A tablet on a stand. The attendee scans their own ticket, the badge prints beside them, and your queue moves without a volunteer. Two kiosks clear a busy gate.
Sell at the door
Walk-ups buy on the same device with tap to pay. The sale, the ticket and the scan happen in one motion, and the money lands in your Stripe account.
Offline mode
Scans are stored on the device and reconciled when the signal returns. The duplicate check still runs against the local list, so nobody gets in twice on your watch.

Does the check-in app work offline?
Yes. Each device carries the attendee list and keeps scanning and printing when the signal drops. Scans are stored locally and synced when it returns, and the duplicate check runs against the local list in the meantime.
Can I print badges at the door?
Yes. Pair a label printer to the desk and the badge prints when the ticket is scanned, using a template per attendee type. A kiosk does the same with the attendee scanning their own ticket.
How many attendees an hour can one kiosk handle?
A scan and print takes a few seconds, so a single kiosk with a printer clears several hundred an hour if the queue keeps moving. Busy gates run two or three kiosks beside a staffed desk for the exceptions.
Can volunteers use it?
Yes. Invite them by email, they sign in on their own phone, and they see only the check-in screen for your event. Remove them when the show closes.
Does it show a live count?
Yes. Every scanner and your dashboard show the live number in the hall, per door and per session, so capacity is a line you can see rather than a guess.
Can an attendee check in from their phone?
At a kiosk, yes: they scan their own wallet ticket and the badge prints beside them. Self check-in without a kiosk is not offered, because the door should know who walked in.
