Quilt Shows
A quilt show combines a judged exhibition with a merchant mall of fabric, machines and notions, usually run by a guild whose volunteers do everything. Entries arrive by application, merchants book booths, and the gate pays for the hall. It is a category built on community and continuity: the same merchants, the same guilds, year after year. Exhibitio automates the merchant sales, the entries, the ticketing and the payables, so a volunteer committee runs finance like a company. The guilds that make booking painless keep their merchant mall full.
